Get Involved

Everyone is free to join the Wake County Sickle Cell Support Group Chapter, Inc. The group is composed of Sickle Cell clients, family members, and advocates who support and fight against chronic illness.

Support group meetings are held at Mount Peace Baptist Church in Raleigh NC from 7PM to 9PM on the First Friday of every other month (February, April, June, August, October, December).

Contributions can be made by any organization, church, sorority, fraternity, civic and social group, work place, etc.

All deposits will be made within 4 weeks and a thank you card will be sent to our contributor(s).

Volunteer

Participation in various events such as the Belk Charity Sales in April or November where we sell tickets at any Belk Store, Health Fair, and Walk-a-thon is a way of volunteering time.
